Iskak G. Dipatuan is the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) of South Cotabato, leading the implementation of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources' programs, projects, and environmental policies throughout the province.

A career environmental professional and forester, PENR Officer Dipatuan has served the DENR in various technical and leadership capacities. Prior to his current designation, he served as the Protected Area Superintendent (PASu) of the Sarangani Bay Protected Seascape (SBPS), where he played an important role in protected area management, biodiversity conservation, and the development of sustainable fisheries management initiatives. He also served as Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer (CENRO) of Tacurong City, providing leadership in forest protection, land management, environmental law enforcement, and community-based natural resource management.

As head of PENRO South Cotabato, he oversees the implementation of programs on forest protection, watershed management, biodiversity conservation, land administration and management, environmental compliance, protected area management, and climate change adaptation. He works closely with local government units, national government agencies, Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs), people's organizations, civil society organizations, and development partners to promote sustainable environmental governance and responsible stewardship of the province's natural resources.

Guided by the DENR's mission of conserving, managing, developing, and properly utilizing the country's environment and natural resources, PENR Officer Dipatuan remains committed to strengthening partnerships, promoting environmental awareness, and delivering responsive public service that supports both ecological integrity and sustainable socio-economic development in South Cotabato.
