??????? ?????? ????- The Community Environment and Natural Resources Office -General Santos City (CENRO-GenSAn), through its Monitoring and Enforcement Section (MES) trained its technical personnel on drone image analysis, on February 29, at CENRO GenSan’s office building, this city.

Said training aims to capacitate technical personnel on drone image analysis and handling drone during enforcement operations.

Resource speaker, Information System Analyst, Jomyr Flores of Provincial ENRO-South Cotabato, presented the basic principles of drone technology, its type, and the rules and laws under Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) that governs drone operations. He also discussed the various uses of drones and its benefits especially in law enforcement, adding that it is useful to reach places that are far from access.

Chief of the Conservation and Development Section, Forester Cader C. Lumna, highlighted the importance of the said activity in CENRO GenSan’s field work operations, particularly in conducting area surveillance.
